What is this Allah thing that Moslems pray to ?

It is a remarkable lie, one based on ignorance, deception and Islamic mendacity, that the ilah or Al-Lah, namely 'the one', or perhaps 'the Lord', of Mecca is the same as Yaweh, Jehovah or Christ. A more ridiculous claim can hardly be made. Hub'Al the moon deity was the main Meccan idol, and he was the moon 'god' or Lord, married to Al-Lat the Sun goddess, and they had daughters who were 'stars'. All were worshipped by the Meccans in various degrees. Mecca was a pagan-polytheistic center when Muhammad was born and when he began his ministry. Curiously and conveniently, Muhammad's family which was part of the ruling Quraish tribe in Mecca were guardians of the Allah shrine [Hub'Al] and Muhammad's middle name taken after his father and grandfather was Abdullah, or slave of Allah.

Islam is a cult not a religion. Fully 10% or more of the Koran advocates slavery. The human is a worthless slave of Allah. All Moslems must enslave themselves to both the Koran and Muhammad. There is no free-will, freedom of speech or inquiry, nor rationality. The golden rule does not exist in Islam. If Moslems are 'kind' it is only to fellow-Moslems as pace various Koranic injunctions, Moslems must avoid unbelievers and never be friends with them. Women are sex toys of men, who can have 4 wives and many sex concubines in imitation of Muhammad, and If you leave the cult you are killed.

....if they turn back take them and kill them wherever you find them. Do not take them for guides or helpers . (Q: 4.89). Say; flight will not avail you, if you flee from death or slaughter, you would enjoy (this world) only for a little (time) . (Q: 33.15, 16) .... Narrated Ikrima: Ali burnt some people and this news reached Ibn 'Abbas, who said, "Had I been in his place I would not have burnt them … I would have killed them, for the Prophet said, 'If somebody (a Muslim) discards his religion, kill him. ' (Bukhari: 4.52. 260)

Muhammad is also bigger than Allah. As his power and dictatorial rule grew apace, one sees in the Koran and in Muhammad's life story, the conflation of himself with a god. This is reflected in the Moslem routine of prayer. You can't go to 'paradise' unless you consecrate the divinity of Muhammad. Muhammad is an integral part of the daily prayers of the Muslims – “La ilaha illa Allah wa-Muhammad rasul Allah”. This is called Shahada (Muslim declaration of faith). It means; “There is no god but Allah and Muhammad is the messenger of God”. A Muslim utters these words several times a day. The Shahada is also recited in the muzzein’s call to prayer, included in the Salat (daily ritual prayer) and incorporated in Sufi meditative prayer. It is also recited in the moments before death. Muhammad associated himself with Allah in such a way that practically they became inseparable.

So back to the main question – what is this Allah thing ? First it was the replacement of Hub'Al and the polytheistic culture of Mecca with 'one' Lord merged with poorly understood and plagiarized Judeo-Christian theology. Second, it mutated into a cult of obedience to this Allah-thing, who in the mind and fantasy-world of Muhammad, had selected only Muhammad as the 'last messenger' to propound the 'truth' of Allah's theology. Third, Allah becomes a convenient source of 'revelations' allowing Muhammad to kill, rape, enslave, have sex with, or do whatever he pleases to grow and cement totalitarian power. Fourth, as Muhammad became a military dictator, the Allah-thing becomes his lieutenant, second in importance, as the Koran states for example that without Muhammad, the Allah-thing would never have created the universe ! Moslem prayers confirm the conflation of Muhammad with Allah. Muhammad is now God.

What a deal. Muhammad who was obviously insane, had 'visions' he was talking to this Allah-thing, who confirms his prophethood, gives him convenient revelations, supports only his ministry, and over time allows himself to be humbled next to the great Muhammad. In fact in reading the Koran, one becomes confused by the 'we', the 'I', the 'us' use of pronouns. Is it Muhammad and Allah both talking ? Or is Muhammad over time just taking over from the Allah-thing in the Koran and creating the commentary and demands ?

Even worse for Moslems is the depiction of Allah in the Koran. Angry, sly, vengeful, hateful, intolerant, unknowable, opaque, devious and blood thirsty. All of these characteristics mirror Muhammad's own mental makeup. Allah is unknowable because he is Muhammad's psyche and inner self. He is kept from inspection and inquiry because he is Muhammad's inflated ego and mentally unbalanced projection of his Freudian-self. Allah is beyond comprehension because he is the creation of a psychopath.

The above is true and reflected in the 99 different names for Allah, that Muhammad told Moslems to memorize. Indeed if you remember all 99 names for Allah you will go to paradise according to Muhammad. But look at the names for Allah. Many are savage and barbaric:Al-Mutakabbir (The Proud One), Al-Jabbar (The Dictator), Al-Qahhar (The Subduer), Al-Khafid (The Abaser), Al-Mudhell (The Humiliator), Al-Mumit (The Death Giver), Al-Muntaqim (The Avenger), Ad-Darr (the Creator of the Harmful), khairul Makirin (The Best Deceiver) and Al-Warith (The Inheritor). These are not divine qualities but rather the attributes of Muhammad himself.

In fact this Allah-thing, like its creator Muhammad is very cruel.  The Allah thing does not trust others, nor is He trustworthy. The Koran describes Allah as the best deceiver and a liar who is not above using the same evil and wicked schemes of His opponents. The Koran also calls Allah “al-Makr” (the word for deception/deceiver/schemer is Makr); in fact, Allah is the best Makr in the world. Muhammad thought that he was under constant watch of Allah. Indeed, your Lord is ever watchful. (Q: 89.14). Who sees you when you stand up. And your turning over and over among those who prostrate themselves before Allah (in worship). (Q: 26.218-9). Allah is so cruel that He likes to see people afraid of him. Muhammad equated love with fear. Whosoever fears the Merciful in the Unseen, and comes with a contrite heart. (Q: 50.33).

It is clear that we know who this Allah-thing really is. It is of course Muhammad himself. He is the Allah, the Lord, the ilah, the replacement of Hub'Al, Yaweh and Christ all in one. He is the great 'knower' of all things. Muhammad is God. As with all cults, the founder and leader very quickly and readily metastasizes from a humble deliverer of a God's message, to God himself. This is neither unusual or noteworthy. The sad reality is that few if any Moslems question who is the Allah-thing, and who is Muhammad.
